Who We Are

Not just a tag-along tour...
A community.

The Campfire Crew is for backpackers and nomads who want more than another standard day tour. We bring people together through 4WD tracks, camping, campfires, beach missions, and shared adventures across South East Queensland.

You don’t need your own 4WD or camping gear. We organise the route, vehicles, campsite setup, food supplies, gear, photography, and importantly… your new crew of best friends.

Our trips are social, outdoorsy, and built around real connection. Think convoy driving, camp cooking, swimming holes, sand, mud, sunsets, campfire stories, music, games, and a group of people who start the trip as strangers and leave as a family.

Already loved an adventure with us? Follow our updates for new trip dates, early announcements, and community perks.

Eating at Camp

How Meals Work

Campfire cooking is one of the best parts of every Campfire Crew adventure: shared tables, bush camp BBQs, late-night feeds, and everyone getting involved.
To keep things simple, social, and stress-free, The Campfire Crew provides the food ingredients and shared cooking equipment. You and your crew cook the meals together, campsite-style.
Before every trip, you will join a private group chat where we run a quick food poll so everyone can choose between meat and vegetarian options.
If you have dietary requirements message the team beforehand and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Everything below is included on every adventure weekend.

NOTE: Our trips are currrenly not suitable for those with food Allergies.

🥐
Breakfasts
We provide everything you need for a proper camp breakfast before hitting the tracks:
  • Pancakes
  • Bacon
  • Maple syrup
  • Bread
  • Tea, coffee, milk & sugar
Using our shared cooking gear and camp stoves, your crew can cook together and enjoy a slower morning before the day’s adventure begins.
Fuel up - Most important meal of the day
🌯

Lunch is designed to be quick, fresh, and easy between swimming spots, viewpoints, and 4WD tracks.
  • Wraps
  • Ham
  • Sauces & condiments
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Salad
Perfect for DIY wraps, sandwiches, and easy meals between track stops.
Quick and Easy for meal-prep on the go
🍖
Dinners
Expect sunset cooking sessions, music around the fire, hammock time, drinks, games, and shared meals under the stars:
  • Burgers
  • Kebabs (veg options available)
  • Halloumi
  • Salad

💡
Pro tips:
  • Bring your own snacks to keep you going between meals.
  • Bring your own drinks. We provide drinking water, but remote stops can be limited and expensive.
  • We supply the ingredients and equipment, but the crew prepares and cooks their own meals. This keeps things flexible, social, and fun — and ensures everyone can cook the way they like.
